Teaser Poster for Leprechaun: Origins

Lionsgate and WWE Studios officially announced plans to work together on a Leprechaun reboot in early 2012 and it’s expected to be released later this year. We haven’t gotten a look at Dylan “Hornswoggle” Postl as the Leprechaun yet, but we do have a new teaser poster from WWE Studios.

While the movie is titled Leprechaun: Origins, it isn’t supposed to tie directly to the original movies. The plot details have been kept secret, but we’ve been told that they’re going for more of a straight horror film with this movie over a comedy. Here is the original announcement posted by WWE Studios:

Unfortunately, it’s not a trailer or  a look at Dylan “Hornswoggle” Postl as the Leprechaun, but Dylan Postl intros a quick scare clip that teases what’s to come.
