WWE Studios return to one of their most popular franchises with The Marine 3: Homefront, which this time features WWE superstar, and former The Real World participant, Mike ‘The Miz’ Mizanin who plays the titular marine, Sgt. Jake Carter, who returns home on two weeks leave just in time for his sister to be abducted by a band of violent extremists. Opting to launch a one-man assault on their base of operations, Carter discovers that their plans are far darker than just straightforward abduction and soon he is racing to stop a deadly terrorist attack. With no time to pause, Carter steps into the breach to save the lives of thousands of innocent people…

Steve Austin (The Condemned) and Dolph Lundgren (Rocky IV, The Expendables) star in The Package, a bone-crunching action flick that delivers the goods: Austin is combat veteran Tommy Wick, a nightclub bouncer and stone-cold enforcer for a Seattle mob boss. Lundgren is ‘The German’, an international crime lord and hardcore killing machine. But when Wick is asked to courier a mysterious package to The German, he’ll suddenly find himself hunted by relentless teams of hit men, mercenaries, assassins and sadists. Time is running out. The bodies are piling up.

Hollywood action heavyweight Steven Seagal (Under Siege, Machete) joins forces with wrestling icon Stone Cold Steve Austin (The Condemned, The Expendables) next month with the UK release of Maximum Conviction, and distributors StudioCanal have just released the first trailer for the action thriller, which you can watch right here...

It’s been about six month since we’ve heard anything about the upcoming Leprechaun reboot from WWE and Lionsgate. It previously announced that Dylan Postl (Hornswoggle) would be replacing Warwick Davis and we have some new information from a recent interview with WWE Studios president Michael Luisi.
While speaking with Crave, Luisi mentioned that this movie will not take any existing elements from the original films and the plan is for a darker and scarier film than the original: “The tone is going to be a little darker, a little more traditional horror than the Warwick Davis ones that people remember, trying to find a way to please fans of that genre but at the same time this is really being played for scares.”
