Lucy Lawless (Xena: Warrior Princess, Battlestar Galactica) plays Lucretia in the upcoming Starz TV series Spartacus: Blood and Sand (known in the U.S. merely as Spartacus), and appears in her first full-frontal nude scenes opposite actor John Hannah.
To make her feel more comfortable, producers are offering her a pubic wig to cover the lower regions. "I haven't worn it yet... I was like 'have you got a red one?' We have one just in case," she remarked to WENN.
Regarding her first sex scene, Lawless added: "It's the first time I had to do a sex scene; I try to think of myself as a modern woman but, honestly, I went home and had to go straight to bed. It was so stressful. There's full frontal male nudity. You see plenty, trust me. I'm a little traumatized."
To get ready to reveal all that skin, Lawless hit the gym,

Rob Schneider will appear in You May Not Kiss The Bride. The film is written and will be directed by Rob Hedden (The Condemned). It centers on a pet photographer who gets mixed up with the Croatian mob while he is in Hawaii on his honeymoon with the daughtero of a gangster. Vinnie Jones, Katherine McPhee, Mena Suvari and Tia Carrere are all also involved.
Hey, if Schneider can keep getting jobs in spite of never once in his cinematic career being likable, more power to him. And hey, if this

Stone Cold Steve Austin: Movie Star

With John Cena's starring vehicle 12 Rounds opening today, it's clear that pro wrestlers continue to make for good movie stars, whether it's of the family-friendly variety (The Rock) or the ass-kicking one. Stone Cold Steve Austin, who also starred in 2007's The Condemned, will be sticking with the latter kind of role, preparing to star in the action thriller The Stranger.
Austin also has another movie in the pipeline, according to THR, the fight movie Damage. Not sure how this one will be different from a fight film, except maybe Austin will be called upon to do a fraction less beating people up and a fraction more acting. But we all know if he doesn't snap some bad guy's next with his feet, we'll all be disappointed we paid for a ticket. Give us the goods, Austin!

How I love my job! Getting to report on wacky shit sure makes the day go faster, and this flick is the perfect case in point! Let's take a look at the synopsis, such as it is!
"Charlie leads two lives. By day she's an overworked paper-pusher for the global video game developer, Corporation X. By night she's a professional wrestler with dreams of becoming a champion like her father.
When her evil boss uses stolen nano technology to give their latest video game powerful addictive qualities, the results are apocalyptic.
With players turning into homicidal maniacs, a mountain of paper-work on her desk, and a championship to win, Charlie is forced

Americal Idol Also-Ran Makes Another Shot At Stardom

Remember Katharine McPhee? She gave the whole nation "McPheever" when she was on American Idol, only to be beaten by the Soul Patrol antics of Taylor Hicks? You may also remember that she was giving a movie career a shot, taking a supporting role in The House Bunny that, apparently, weren't entirely embarrassing.
Now she's giving movie stardom yet another try, taking a role alongside Brothers & Sisters star Dave Annable in Wedlocked, a romantic comedy about mobsters, pet photographers, and forced weddings. The Hollywood Reporter writes that Rob Hedden (The Condemned) will direct the film, which starts filming in March.
I know it's unfair to say that American Idol stars have a short shelf life, given that Jennifer Hudson is America's reigning sweetheart. But I'm really not seeing the "next big thing" potential in McPhee.
