Sacha Baron Cohen redefines the mockumentary form with this smash hit comedy that takes his character Borat, a wide-eyed, aggressively chauvinistic, eagerly anti-Semitic journalist from a Kazakhstan that exists only in the comedian's fantasy world, across America to interview real people with inappropriate questions. They return to favor with hilariously dumbfounded responses, and a few that are equally inappropriate. Ken Davitian co-stars as his gnome of a producer, Pamela Anderson plays herself (the object of Borat's obsession), and Larry Charles directs.
