*** This review may contain spoilers ***

The program on Animal plant call Animal Icons is a good program. It shows some of the greatest animals this world has to offer and tell many great things about them. This special feature on this episode on that aired on 05/18/05 was a special one indeed titled Star Wars Creatures and was hosted by Anthony Daniels! There were many interviews with some of the Star Wars cast members such as Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia), Harrison Ford (Han Solo), Mark Hamil (Luke Skywalker), Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca), Warrick Davis (Wicket), Kenny Baker (R2-D2, Paploo), George Lucas, and many members of the Star Wars crew. The creatures what were featured were the Reek, Wampa, Taun Taun, Boga, Ackley, Nexu, Opee Sea Killer, Sando Aqua Monster, Colo Clawfish, Kaadu, Eopie, Bantha, Dewback, Ronto, and even alien characters like Jabba the Hutt and his entourage, Watto, Jar Jar Binks, and the Cantina crowd. The George Lucas, the crew and special effects members explained that they studied Earth's own animals and thought they they should move similar like our animals. For example, they created the Bantha but how would the creature move and walk? Simple, Since the creature is as large an elephant they thought the Bantha should walk similar to the counterpart. Same thing with the Dewbacks. They are huge lizards and they studied lizards and created a similar movement for the Dewback race! Wookies came from the canine. The Wampa was inspired by the legendary cryptid the Yeti or Abominible Snowman! The program had clips from all of the Star Wars films and even Episode III! This was really a treat to watch as it is fascinating to know that they studied the great animals and to see the cast members once more! If you have a chance to watch this program do so because I recommend it!
