This is probably the fluffiest article ever on Mumbrella.
Office dogs.
What, if anything, does having a pooch on the premises add to company culture? Does man’s best friend contribute to the creative process? Or do they, much like procurement types, tend to bark at people and shit on everything?
Like graffiti on office walls, a dog in the agency is one thing I’ve noticed a lot lately on my travels around adland. I wondered if lap dogs in hospital wards help the healing process, what role do they perform in an ad agency?
The first agency I noticed for its canine credentials was Spinach Advertising, an agency in Melbourne, a city where I’ve noticed plenty of dogs in agencies.

Exclusive: On the 20th anniversary of Johnny Carson’s final Tonight Show, HBO has optioned Once Upon A Time In Beverly Hills, an article Matt Tyrnauer wrote in the March 2011 issue of Vanity Fair. HBO will develop it into a movie about the long, unusual relationship between Beverly Hills socialite Janet de Cordova and her longtime housekeeper Gracie Covarrubias. Tyrnauer, who helmed the documentary Valentino: The Last Emperor, will direct, and John Hoffman will write the script. Janet was the wife of Freddie de Cordova, Carson’s long time Tonight Show producer. She came to Hollywood hoping to use her beauty to become an actress, but through de Cordova she found her way into the center of the social swirl as one of the true socialites of her era. I admit, I've been waiting for this episode ever since I heard rumblings of a Danny centric with an ex-partner bent on revenge back in the fall. This season has seen so little really character centric episodes that didn't get overshadowed by case work (maybe 3 or 4) and Danny's (Scott Caan) time was past due. Plus, this had backstory on our favorite Jersey detective, and that, dear friends, is what wets my appetite. Add to that the fact that Scott Caan and Peter Greene just freaking owned this episode, and you've got the makings of a great Sweeps start. We open with any nervous flyer's worst nightmare: a murder at 30,000 feet. Us Marshal Dave Collins goes into the lavatory and never comes out. His prisoner, a con named Painter, disappears. The poor stewardess is traumatized to find the Marshal stabbed to death in the bathroom. I think the flight should get extra free drinks, »
