Britain's Got Talent: Collabro's verdict - Matt Pagan on which acts were weird and who stepped up

27 May 2015 4:40 AM, PDT | Digital Spy | See recent Digital Spy - TV news news »

We've had our second semi-final on Britain's Got Talent now, and some people who know just what it's like to hit the live shows are last year's winners Collabro. So each day, we'll be bringing you their verdict on the previous night's show, and today it's the turn of Matt Pagan.

"It was a great semi-final actually, really great," Matt told us this morning. "Me and the boys always sit and watch it in our separate homes and we all comment on it on our WhatsApp group and we thought it was a fantastic semi-final."

And in fact, the boys are still such big Britain's Got Talent fans that they thought they'd swing by to perform on Friday's show - why not, eh? Matt revealed this morning that he's "so excited" about going back to the studios.

So without further ado, let's see what Matt thought of each of the acts last night. »

Dylan's exuberant dancing to 'Bang Bang' won him three yeses, but his performance didn't impress Alesha. Can he win her over this time around?

The Golden Buzzers

Calum Scott - 26, Hull

Remind me: Calum had to take to the stage just after his sister Jade had been rejected by the judges, but his rendition of 'Dancing On My Own' won over the panel.

Boyband - Mike (18), Mikey (19), Dylan (18), Corey (18), Jaih (17) from London

Britain's Got Talent: The judges choose the final 45

23 May 2015 1:21 PM, PDT | Digital Spy | See recent Digital Spy - TV news news »

The Britain's Got Talent judges made their final decision about which acts will perform in the live semi-finals in tonight's show.

After bringing the auditions to a close, Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and David Walliams had the tough task of cutting down 200 acts to just 40.

The chosen ones will join the five golden buzzer acts - Calum Scott, Boyband, Revelation Avenue, Entity Allstars and Lorraine Bowen - in the live shows next week.

As usual, the judges had several disagreements during the decision process, with David Walliams ripping up one act's photo to make a point.

Even when the choices had been made some of the judges may have had regrets, with Simon Cowell wondering why they had decided to put through Michael Late, Jeffrey Drayton, Narinder Dhani, Mitch and Cally and Peter Lambert.

As Holden told the group that they want to find something "unique" that will »

The Good

Groove Thing - 7-11, South Wales

Talent: 70s dance troupe

Tell us more: Now here's a dance troupe with a difference. We loved Groove Thing for snubbing hip hop and street dance and going full-blown 70s instead; it was so entertaining. Their choreography was really tight, they had loads of attitude, and they were so good that they were basically like mini adults. It helps, of course, that they were so cute; Ben, the only male of the group, was »
