Trivia

Although in most of the series, the Transformers' facial expressions are limited to opening and closing their mouth and at times smirking, in episode 44 (titled "Taiketsu! Lori tai Chromia" or "Showdown! Lori VS Chromia" in English), they are given much more expressive faces, and even have teeth. See more »

Goofs

Although the Mini-Cons of the planet Gigalonia (Gigantion in the English dub) are normal, about human-sized robots, they suddenly become gigantic when they combine with their giant Transformer partners. This is because their animation models have been based directly on their toys, however when separated, their partners are shown to be gigantic, whereas the Mini-Cons themselves are of the same size as any other Mini-Con. Quotes

Overide: [after the race between herself and Megatron is finished] Let's see who won.
[the camera over the finish line reveals that Override has won by a nose]
Overide: I won! As for that cyber planet key thing I don't know what you're talking about. I just wanted someone to race.
Megatron: I can tell you all about it.

It's the same TF story with Energon looking characters
11 May 2005 | by (california) – See all my reviews

I wasn't really excited to check out this series and after watching the first couple of episodes my assumptions were confirmed. It is a bit of an Armada/Energon looking clone once again using 3d computer effects to form the TF characters.

So for those who are wondering if this new TF series looks like Armada, it does entirely with some slight differences.

Essentially the story falls again back to 1985 original Cybertron is about to self destruct amidst the war between the Decepticons and Aubotos. Autobots eventually continue their war with the enemy and make friends with the humans and yada yada.

They of course changed the names again, though one that's funny is that their inconsistent with that, for example the Decepticons in this series actually use their original names like Megatron and Starscream while the Autobots have different names.

Optimus Prime is called Galaxy Convoy and a guy that looks like Bumblebee is called Excillion. Weird.

If you're bored it would be fun to check out, but alas it doesn't offer anything new to fans whove seen both Energon and Armada.
