The series was originally meant to act as a sequel to Transformers: Energon
(2004), but during production, was rewritten to be a completely unrelated story. Later on, the American edit of the series reinstalled its sequel status, although this had caused several continuity errors. After many years, Takara (the owner of the Transformers brand in Japan) followed suit and now they also consider the series to be a sequel to Super Link, disregarding the continuity issues. See more
Ligerjack (or Leobreaker in English) can activate three giant claws on each of his arms. When combining with Galaxy Convoy (Optimus Prime), during which he becomes Convoy's arm, he is always shown with four claws. See more
