Im Auftrag Von Madame is by far one of the most boring television shows I have ever seen. As far as I know it was aired in Germany only once and I watched quite a few episodes because my father used to watch them. Horst Keitel, a German, tried to pass himself off as a British gentlemen in the vein of John Steed. It was embarrassing. He played Homer Halfpenny, a professor in Tibetan dialects, but his main occupation was solving mysteries. This could result in an interesting television show but was executed so poorly and the stories were so unimaginative on wonders how they ever got away with producing three complete seasons. It's gathering dust on a shelf somewhere in Germany and that is exactly where it should stay.
