I just saw the director's cut with the sound remixed and it is a very powerful piece of work...it's a must see for anyone that has ever had love for anything and the forces of evil are trying to take it away from you...this film has a heart with a beat...It's about a man and his daughter and the struggles he goes through to get her back into his life...does he make the right choices or does he make the wrong choices and go back to jail...throughout the piece the temptation gets stronger and stronger until something has to give...It has Brian Krause from the hit TV show CHARMED playing a very interesting role as Trace's old buddy...Trace, the lead character played by Jaime Gomez, best known for his 5 years starring on NASH BRIDGES and the blockbuster TRAINING DAY, is up against beautiful women, drugs, what appears to be easy money and the new Russian Mob leader played by Yuri Lowenthal...There's a lot of familiar faces like Symba Smith from STAR TREK, Kritsten Minter from ER, Candy Castillo from THREE AMIGOS, Mark Walburg the host of TEMPTATION ISLAND, Tony Genaro from TREMORS, Pamela Warren from PORT CHARLES as well as music from band members from COUNTING CROWS, SMASHING PUMPKINS, JEFFERSON AIRPLANE, HOT TUNA, JOE 90, as well as many, many more talented people...there was over 400 people who worked on this project like Victor Goss, Dennis Bishop, Vincent Guisette and Steven Yeaman from STAR WARS, SPIDERMAN, TERMINATOR, THE PASSION OF Christ, WONDER YEARS, NASH BRIDGES and on and on...I recommend that everyone see this film...it's a one of a kind for sure...
