The film "Old Man" stood out from the crowd at the Dallas Film festival. Refreshingly different, this film has a style all it's own, yet is feels as familiar as a good conversation with an old friend. I was surprised to hear that this was the filmmaker's first project, he is so talented with his craft. Chris Howell shows the vulnerability of men regarding their relationships with their fathers. It is beautiful and authentic as their memories are discussed and you are reminded of your own. It was a true testament of the heart, bittersweet and brilliant. I would recommend this film to families and friends and anyone who wants to appreciate life and relationships and art.
