Good start but by the end, I just didn't care about these guys
5 August 2013 | by See all my reviews

Cuba Goodin Jr tries his best interpretation of Denzel and it worked for a little while. But I think Denzel is just on a different level than Cuba. In 'Training Day', Denzel gives a tour de force performance. He almost overshadows the movie. In this one, Cuba seems to fade. He's just not able to keep it up.

As they follow their dark path, it became less and less relevant. I didn't care about these characters. I found no rooting interest in either characters. In the end, I really had little interest in the movie itself.

So not recommended, but if you LOVE Cuba....
