Finding himself at a life crossroad after marriage problems, Doc Jennings goes to his parents' home to celebrate his mother, Ann's birthday. While family and friends seem to think everything's fine, he notices some dramatic changes between his mother and father, Jack. He stays at their home afterward and learns the dark secrets of his seemingly perfect family. Lies, affairs, and afflictions. Then after a life-threatening accident, the family realizes they have to come together. After bitter fights and twists in fate, the house slowly becomes a home, recognizing....it's never too late. Please don't watch this piece of nonsense. It's got a terrible story and a screenplay that makes no sense. The dialog is stilted and disjointed.
It starts off like an Alzheimer's story about Joanna Cassidy's illness then just ends up in a strange family drama. With father and son both having slept with this young girl.
The relationships are so weird especially Corin Nemec's character with this 17 year old girl who looks much older. Why they treat Corin's character worse than his brother isn't explained either.
The ending is terrible leaving crucial plot lines unresolved and giving no explanation for things then went on before.
Absurd!
