- In the spirit of The Twilight Zone, this award-winning short casts a supernatural reflection of the tenacity of love despite desperate, possibly lethal circumstances. The theme is not unique; the presentation, however, provides an intricate and surprisingly evocative slant upon the demonstration of 'sacrificial love.'—AESTUS Films
- In the summer months following a terrorist attack on a government facility in the rural Kansas town of Eternity, a young woman struggles to find her way among the dying remains of a phantom world as she searches for a future among the ruined cities, now crumbling from civil unrest and swarming with a deadly plague that has sent the human race to the brink of extinction.—Anonymous
- Sarah is a teenager haunted by a dark secret: she has just been in a car accident and is trapped in her car along a deep ravine. Her Mom is plagued by panicked cries for help from Sarah via her cell phone. Sarah's Mom believes she knows where Sarah might be located and frantically calls Sarah's Dad for help. Sarah's Dad gets a phone call to meet Sarah's Mom at the place where she believes the car is located.
As Sarah's parents try to uncover the truth about Sarah's whereabouts, Sarah's Dad finds the car and rescues Sarah who is still alive. But, he horrifically discovers she's not alone in the car. Sarah's Mom is there too ... dead!
Her Mom's phone is next to her body just out of reach, but turned "on." Sarah's Mom's supernatural abilities saved her daughter. Her spirit, not aware she was dead, continued home, unpacked the groceries, and made the supernatural call to Sarah's Dad letting him know where to find their daughter.
Sarah had been shopping with her Mom on the day of the accident. When the car crashed into the ravine, Sarah's Mom died immediately. Her Mom's forehead can be seen gashed as she lays dead in the car. Sarah was trapped in her seat and couldn't see her Mom had died next to her. The broken groceries can be seen at the foot of the car between Sarah and her Mom.
When Sarah's Mom's spirit supernaturally arrives home, she bangs her head into the cabinets which mimics her head injury from the car accident. Confused, and in pain, Sarah's Mom puts a towel on her head to stop the bleeding and drops the groceries onto the kitchen floor. This mimics the loose groceries that fell onto the car floor.
Sarah never really calls her mom, because the phone is on the floor - turned on. It's Sarah's distressed Mom's spirit that makes the connection to her Dad telling him where she believes they/Sarah may be located.
