Each contestant eliminated from "Hell's Kitchen" is immediately taken for a psychiatric evaluation to make sure contestants don't want to kill themselves - or someone else.
The diners have to sign that they are not guaranteed a meal but are guaranteed all the free beer and wine and bread they want.
The only two challenges to appear on the show every season are the Signature Dish and the Blind Taste Test.
Season six marked the first time Gordon Ramsay walked out during dinner service.
Computers, personal electronics and phones are strictly off limits to contestants.
At fourteen seasons, this is the longest running cooking reality show.
Four contestants have left Hell's Kitchen during dinner service and quit: Jeff in Season one, Andrew in Season seven, and Gina in Season eleven, Joy in Season 12.

In season ten, a new record was set for the blue team as they lost almost every dinner service that season. Also, it was the first time neither team won a challenge. Justin also set a record in the Blind Taste Test by identifying all four items correctly.

Robert Hesse and Jason Zapaltas are the only two contestants to participate in two seasons. Robert competed in seasons five and six and Jason Competed in seasons nine and twelve.

Robert Hesse and Jason Zepaltas are the only contestants to appear on two season of Hell Kitchen. Robert was in season 5 but had to leave due to a medical condition and and was allowed to compete in season 6 where he was eventually eliminated. Jason Originally appeared on season 9 but left due to medical problems before the first dinner service. He then appeared as a contestant again in season twelve where he went on to become one of the final two before being eliminated.

Season 13, marks the the first time a team Has ever completed an opening night service without any of the contestants being kicked out of the kitchen. This is credited to the Red Team whom won the service by a landslide.

Five contestants have been kicked out of Hell's Kitchen as of now. They are in order of episodes: Josh, J, Lacey, Louie and Nilka. Out of all of them, Josh and Nilka were the only ones to return. The reason for them are as follows: Josh: Overcooked a risotto and wasting cooked pasta that wasn't even ordered. J: Overcooked rice for both teams and overcooked scallops. Lacey: Overcooked lamb and admitted to not being able to cook meat. Louie: Used all the lamb in the blue kitchen and cutting it the wrong way. Nilka: Serving raw lobster.
