Trivia

The identity of The Woman whom meets Wilfred Mott in the "The End of Time" has never been confirmed onscreen, however show runner Russell T. Davies confirmed in interviews that she is supposed to be the Doctor's mother. Other fan theories were that she was the Doctor's former companion Romana, or the Doctor's granddaughter Susan. Quotes

The Eleventh Doctor: I wouldn't say that. The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. Hey. The good things don't always soften the bad things, but vice-versa, the bad things don't necessarily spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

Crazy Credits

On the 2012 episodes, the title logo is decorated with a motif related to each episode's theme. On episode one, "Asylum of the Daleks", it was decorated with dots like the ones covering a Dalek body. On episode 2, "Dinosaurs on a Spaceship" it was decorated in green-like vegetation. On episode 3, "A Town Called Mercy" it was made of wooden boards, like the buildings of the Far West town on the episode. And on episode 4, "The Power of Three", it was decorated with a pattern made of cubes. See more »

He's back, get over it.
22 May 2005 | by (London) – See all my reviews

I saw the very first screening of the very first episode of Doctor Who as a very young child and have never forgotten it. Growing up in the 60s & 70s my friends and I witnessed every regeneration for the first time, followed by constant repeats which were standard after-school fodder for many years. Surprisingly, with each regeneration The Doctor was different!! And as the years progressed the series did too!! I don't need to attend sci-fi seminars to learn how to appreciate a television show, Doctor Who is a lifelong icon and watching it has always made me feel good. Watching the newest series makes me feel good too. It's different to when I was 3, but then so am I.
