Solid UK Thriller
12 January 2007 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

Otherfilm I watched at Bloodbath 2006 (what a great festival) The Silencer features faces from one or two of the other Brit action films on display on the same weekend such as Chris Jones, Glenn Salvage and Steve Lawson.

Very different from Left For Dead or Intergatic Strike Team, it's much slower (often a little too slow) and much more of a thriller with action than an action –thriller.

After a confusing fight (who is fighting who) the film settles down into a revenge film not unlike at time that 80's gem the Exterminator.

It's a solid if unspectacular British movie but one that makes the most of it's again meagre budget range. One to enjoy if you want a mix of very British acting and very British sweeny old school action.
