Trivia

Shot over a weekend by Tunnicliffe and a small group of friends in a small set constructed in one of Two Hours in the Dark, Inc FX studio workshops. After renting the hi definition camera (approx $1200 of the budget) Tunnicliffe read the users manual and visited a DP chat room for a few Q&A's the night before the weekend shoot - he then used halogen worklights to "light" and homemade "cookies" and a small collection of "gels". Total Budget $2400 See more »

I'd watch this over Hellworld, Bloodline, and Hell on Earth any day!

I'm amazed at how well the Deader DVD was put together. The special features on it are fantastic, the film is great, and we get THIS little beauty! This is yet another reason to pick up the Deader DVD, the only sequel, IMO, since HRII to evoke the atmosphere of the original.

No More Souls is a very enjoyable short film put together by virtually the same crew as the recent Hellraiser films (minus Bota as a director, with Gary J Tunnicliffe doing possibly one too many jobs). It was shot on Hi-Def video for a few thousand dollars, and though the lighting is nothing to scream about, and though the hand-held camera work is a little shaky at times, the concepts it evokes and the theme are perfect, and Pinhead's monologue is fantastic. This is a real fan pleaser. The ending is simply awesome.

Minus one star for the lighting, and minus one for the occasionally bad camera work, I give this film an 8. I think I've probably watched it over a dozen times now. :)
