• The real Point Pleasant, New Jersey is about a mile from the ocean. A separate town which is on the ocean is called Point Pleasant Beach.
  
  
• The episode "Unraveling" features a shot of a bus that Christina is on driving past a sign that reads "Now leaving Point Pleasant. Please come again." This is a reference to the final shot of the second season of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" (1997), a show on which Marti Noxon was a writer.
  
  
• 13 Episodes of the show were made but only eight episodes got to air because after the eighth episode the ratings were decreasing and FOX then canceled it.
  
  

• The show was canceled on a cliffhanger.
  
  
• Although, FOX only aired 8 out of the 13 episodes made they still released the 5 un-aired episodes on DVD along with the 8 episodes that FOX aired plus the un-aired pilot episode.
