Mel B has been rumoured as the fourth judge for some time, following her experience as a guest judge in 2012.
"I'm so excited to be joining The X Factor - I loved being a guest judge back in 2012," she said.
"I've always thought honesty is the best policy when being a judge and that's what I'm going to bring more of this year - whether it's spotting an incredible singer, giving someone a reality check or debating with Simon over who's got it wrong! »
Fox’s latest sinisterly entertaining reality stunt I Wanna Marry Harry got off to a very poor start in the ratings.
The series where 12 American women travel to England for to compete for a man they’re indirectly duped into believing is Prince Harry delivered a pauper’s 2.1 million viewers and a 0.7 rating among adults 18-49 during its Tuesday night premiere. (EW’s take on Harry).
Granted, the Fox series premiered against very heavy reality competition (so heavy, in fact, one wonders why the network didn’t simply wait a week to debut their new show). Harry was up against »

There's also an early season 11 spoiler, but it's an unhappy one as new doctors ,Shane and Leah, will not be returning. They're played by actors, Gaius Charles and Tessa Ferrer. For the most part, the fall schedules announced by NBC and Fox at the start of upfront week were logical and conservative, leaving major changes for midseason (and in some cases not even announcing midseason plans beyond series pick-ups). As the fourth-place broadcast network — despite having some of the bigger hits on television in "Scandal," "Modern Family" and "Grey's Anatomy" — ABC can't afford to play things so safely. So with 12 new series debuting between fall and mid-season, there are a lot of changes on the schedule. The most prominent comes on Thursday, where "Grey's" and "Scandal" will each air an hour earlier (despite both being among the more sexually frank shows on network TV, and "Scandal" being among the more graphically violent) at 8 and 9, respectively, forming an entire night of Shonda Rhimes-produced programming, with Viola Davis as a law professor turned sleuth in "How to Get Away with Murder »
