Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that, instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, you use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

We see many nude corpses being tossed into a ditch (male and female genitals are not visible and not in clear line of sight).

A bishop enters a room where an adult woman is dressed up like a little girl; he pushes her back on a bed and tries to rape her. He is interrupted before anything goes further.

Three men confront a woman who was trespassing, one begins to unzip his trousers, while the other claims she will have the sorest ass in all of London in the morning, and the first one implicitly telling her that she will swallow his ejaculate. They advance on her to rape her, but she is saved.

A man is bare-chested with a towel wrapped around his waist.

A man has homoerotic portraits hanging in a secret chamber of his home. We see these briefly and no nudity is shown.

Violence & Gore

An open grave with heaps of naked dead bodies is shown.

A young girl is shot briefly.

A woman's head is shaved and she claims that people tortured her after that.

A man is shown with a bullet wound in his forehead and blood on his face.

A man is shot numerous times (in slow motion).

A man is strangled and then has his neck broken.

A man kills 8 men in the following ways:

.a throat is slit blood sprays out.

.a man is stabbed in the chest and blood flies out entry and exit wounds.

.a knife hits a man in the head.

.a man's chest is sliced multiple times.

a man has his west slit, stabbed in groin then stabbed in the chest.

several real rebellion flash backs are seen. many people are beaten by police. several dead bodies are seen with shots of blood. people throw things and set things on fire.

a brief flash back of V being electrocuted.

1 use of "cunt". Hard to hear.

5 uses of "fuck". 1 is not really heard.

About 4 uses of "shit".

1 use of bullshit.

1 use of son of a bitch

1 use of goddamn it.

1 use of hoe.

A few uses of "bollocks", "bastard", "hell", "crap", "bloody", "arse", "whore", "bitch" etc.

Two detectives smoke cigarettes. A man smokes a pipe, another smokes a cigar.

Legal and illegal drugs are shown in a medicine cabinet.

The implied torture (and the interrogation shown partly on screen) may be found upsetting.

The head shave scene is kind of unsettling.

The overall tone of the movie is quite dark, and the plot revolves around a terrorist.

A few emotional scenes.

V's death is very emotional.

A bishop is shown to be both a rapist and a pedohebephile.
