I don't have much to say about this film. It is pretty low budget but the film it's self is pretty good.

Oh No! Zombies! Stupid & Cheap but Also Clever & Endearing

This no-budget homage to underground horror of the 70s & early 80s (think: Basket Case, Scalps, Wizard of Gore, Chopping Mall, etc.) works because it really doesn't try to work. The acting is pretty much Public Access TV level, which makes it all the more endearing. The special-FX are a gorgeous concoction of Dario Argento lighting, old-school latex, smoke machines & red corn syrup. The soundtrack is perfunctory & repetitive, but enchantingly quirky. The character of Steve is overwrought to such an absurd degree that the performance of Creator/Actor/Director Greg Parker becomes one of instant legend.

Badly acted, extremely low-budget, decent horror/comedy

Warning: Spoilers
I am surprised that more people had not rated this movie. I am also surprised to find out that the movie was released in 2000. Although after seeing the movie, I noticed a link to the movie's website on IMDb.com, and they are already selling the movie on DVD, so it must have been out for a while, just not shown in any theaters in my area. The first screening in Michigan was Jan. 19, 2005. I saw it 9 days after the initial Michigan screening on Jan. 28 at the Roseville theater (Roseville, MI) which is playing the movie for two weeks. First off, I am a fan of underground horror movies. Opera and The Devil's Backbone are two of my favorites. Even some of the Troma movies, though severely low on budget, can be cool. But this is beyond Troma's low budget. I heard that they spent approximately $1,500 on the movie, but it looks like they spent more like $50 on it. The movie itself focuses on a semi-retarded person named Steve (He says "I love eggs" about 15 times) who finds an evil book similar to the Necronomicon (Book of the Dead) from the Evil Dead movies. He turns into a demon with a turkey head. Yes it looks like he's wearing a turkey mask. After turning into this turkey-headed demon, he kills people with acid. It is interesting for a while if you are an underground horror fan, gore fan, or like GWAR concerts, but after a while the lack of budget and look of the movie (You feel like you are watching some kid's homemade video or a cable access show at times) will eventually get to you. I like the scene where they are filming a vampire lesbian porno movie and Steve (or I should say Steve evil Demon alter ego) and a zombie kill everyone on the set. Most of the movie is laughable. Definitely should be taken as a comedy. It would be better seen on DVD hanging out with friends after you've been drinking. Watching it as a comedy I can see where it would be funny. But seeing it as a horror/comedy in the theater is just not as good. I like underground horror, but this is just too underground, just looks too much like a homemade movie that you can't get over it. Too much fog machines and bad acting. Due to the fact that it is funny at times and some of the makeup looks really cool (Some of the zombies do look scary and how a zombie should look) and the fact that I can see it being hilarious to watch on DVD while hanging out with a bunch of friends, I'd give it a slight higher score. Still only 4/10 is my score.

I don't mind the gore. It is just too underground/homemade looking for me and the acting is just horrible at times. However, if you are really into Troma and even more underground or local movies and take this in as a comedy then it's not all that bad. Just be aware that it's a horror/comedy, and don't expect any good acting.

If you want to see a much better underground comedy/horror movie I would suggest Dead Alive.

I LIKE IT, I LIKE EGGS

I really had fun watching this film, it has everything that a trash horror fan can ask for. As a matter of fact, it gets the humour spot on with simple premise. Yes, it is over the top, nothing makes sense here, acting is terrible. The dialogue and character interactions were fun and this has a classic feel to it. Plot-wise, it's your basic recycled demon possession story but there is enough here to enjoy. Or if gore is your thing, there's plenty of that too. You can have a lot of fun with this movie along with your beer-chugging friends. Definitely recommended for any B-movie lover who likes a cheesy, campy horror. Overall, this movie is entertaining over the top, dumb but fun.

If you enjoy this be sure to check out Love God (1997), Red Scream Nosferatu (2009), Scalps (1983), Inbred (2011), and of course Jason Impey, Norbert Moutier, Roger A. Fratter, Olaf Ittenbach and Brendan Steere movies.
