A young boy, whose faith in Santa Claus is waivering, awakes Christmas Eve to the sounds of The Polar Express, a magic

steam train, in his front yard. The conductor, urges the boy to take the ride to the North Pole hop on board which he

reluctantly does.

Once aboard the train, the boy's and travel-mates find a journey full of excitement, magic, adventure and friendship

all the way to the North Pole, and home again.
