A Broken and Rushed Title...
20 June 2008 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I'm a massive fan of Star Wars and the first KOTOR, but this title is immensely disappointing for a number of reasons. First off, we are introduced to two of the coolest characters in SW since Revan; Darth Sion and Darth Nihilus. Both have incredible potential initially. Nihilus is a dark and terrifying vampire of the force, while Sion is seemingly immortal, yet he has a tragic side to him that shows he is still a person. For a title called "The Sith Lords" the Sith are mostly absent from the game. I heard entire parts of their story was cut, which makes sense. The game feels awkward and rushed, the music doesn't fit, and entire story lines seem to build then suddenly disappear. The Exile's lack of voice acting takes the cinematic feel down to zero, especially in the "climatic" final battles.

Overall it is for die hards only, there are bits of good story involved, but the clunky controls and broken mechanics prevent this from being a good game, which is what it is supposed to be....a game. If any title deserves a remake with some effort put into it, this is definitely a contender.
