Too many people say things like "I'd like to believe in UFO's" which is a rather ignorant if not stupid statement. UFO stands for Unidentified Flying Object, clearly someone needs to explain this to them.
UFO's DO exist, many of us have seen them personally. Their origins however are where the mystery lies. The claims of E.T.'s on the other hand have to be taken more lightly.
The problem with these documentaries is they speculate and the supposed "experts" brought in to supply logical answers assume not only were ancient humans stupid but the VIEWERS are stupid. When someone suggests that the supposed aliens an ancient human recorded witnessing were possibly an unknown tribe wearing masks and carrying torches which frightened this individual, they also suggest that ancient humans were, no exaggeration here, mentally retarded. You're talking about times where people were publicly executed, mutilated, raped and robbed regularly. Burned to death, mutilated by primitive weapons, suffered from countless diseases yet they would be frightened by mask wearing foreigners with torches?
You sir have insulted us and humiliated yourself beyond redemption.
In fact, we have CONTROL groups to discredit this nonsense. Strict Amish sects as well as tribes in the Amazon detached from modern technology help us determine an awful lot. For starters, we do not see them building stone cities or bizarre monuments so vast in size they would confuse future generations as to how they were built. If an individual from one of these control groups were to encounter outsiders in masks with torches, you can trust they would be absolutely certain they were seeing humans. If however, they encountered a group of humans in technology based suits such as advanced diving gear, military armor and gas masks etc., we can then assume they may suspect who they saw were not human.
Documentaries such as this are pretty much annoying. They don't stick with one common theme or a basic concept. It's simply a cornucopia of fables and mythology which according to these cultures, are historical accounts and completely non-fiction. Then the people behind these productions speculate for an hour as if we can't do this on our own. The worse element by far however, are these mindless geeks that suggest ancient humans were mental retards and that the modern viewers aren't much more intelligent. Their suggestions are condescending and delivered in such a way that they are intended to dictate how we should think and what we should believe.
In short, some people need punched in the face!
