When documentarian Alex Gibney (who won an Oscar for Taxi to the Dark Side) learned via his Jack Abramoff “Google Alert” that director George Hickenlooper (Factory Girl) had decided to name his fiction film starring Kevin Spacey as corrupt Republican lobbyist Jack Abramoff Casino Jack, Gibney had his lawyer send a legal letter (dated November 10) asking Hickenlooper not to use the title, to which Gibney states he had prior claim, citing “violations of federal and state unfair competition laws”: While there seems little reason to doubt that your mimicry of the Film’s title is knowing and intentional, there can be no doubt of the likelihood … »

Jude Law and Sienna Miller are reportedly back together.
The British pair - who started a romance on the set of 'Alfie' in 2004 but split two years later after Jude had an affair with his children's nanny - have had a series of secret meetings in New York where they are both currently starring in Broadway shows.
A source said: "Sienna and Jude have met up a few times and got on really well.
"Sienna had her heart broken by Jude, but she was young and it was the first time she'd fallen in love.
"What people don't realise is that they always remained close, so who knows where this will lead to next."
Jude recently hit the headlines after fathering a daughter, new born Sophia, following a brief fling with aspiring model Samantha Burke, and insiders claim they want to keep their romance under wraps to avoid further controversy. »

Sienna Miller received a guarded welcome to Broadway Thursday night, as critics measured her performance in the drama After Miss Julie, an update - to 1945 - of August Strindberg's 1888 play about sex and class. "In a theater season that has felt like a boys' club of male movie idols from abroad (Daniel Craig and Hugh Jackman in A Steady Rain, Jude Law in Hamlet), wouldn't it be gratifying if one fearless woman - with fewer stage credentials than the guys but almost as much tabloid exposure - walked away with the laurels?" writes Ben Brantley of The New York Times. »

Sienna Miller has received an apology from a U.S. newspaper for incorrectly stating she dated the late Heath Ledger.
The New York Times listed the late star and rapper Sean 'Diddy' Combs as previous boyfriends of the Factory Girl actress.
But Miller, who has dated Jude Law, Rhys Ifans and actor Balthazar Getty, was left furious at the incorrect romantic link the newspaper had published.
Bosses at the publication have now apologised for claiming she was more than just friends with both stars.
An apology in the newspaper reads, "An article about Sienna Miller mis-states the nature of the relationships that she had with Heath Ledger and Sean Combs. She was friends with both of them; she did not have romantic flings with either of them." »

Sienna Miller wishes she was more like her pal Keira Knightley - because the Pirates Of The Caribbean star always keeps her private life out of the media.
The Factory Girl actress, who starred alongside Knightley in The Edge of Love in 2007, has become a paparazzi target after a stream of controversial love affairs.
She has dated actors Jude Law and Rhys Ifans, and was at the centre of a scandal last year after she started romancing married father-of-four Balthazar Getty.
Miller realises she has made mistakes, but insists she is still learning and doesn't possess the ability to make smart choices - unlike Knightley, who has managed to avoid such attention.
She says, "I haven't been as bright in some of the decisions I've made. Keira's just a more evolved person. I feel we live in the kind of culture now where you have to be very smart to navigate the right way, and I just don't have those smarts. I think with age and time it will change, but I can't obsess about it." »

British actress Sienna Miller is pondering a permanent move to her birthland of New York as she prepares to make her Broadway debut in After Miss Julie.
The Factory Girl actress is set to star in an updated version of the August Strindberg classic, alongside Jonny Lee Miller, which is set to begin previews this month.
Miller, who spent her infancy in New York before her parents packed up and moved to the U.K., has moved to the Big Apple for her four month stint in the play.
And the 27 year old admits she's considered making the city a more permanent home.
She tells Gotham magazine, "I think you always have an affinity with the place where you were born... (I) love any excuse to be in New York. It's such an amazing, exciting vibrant place to be... I think I'm going to fall so in love with being in New York that I probably won't leave when we finish the play." »

The Hustons are like the Wayans, only less annoying and prone to making crappy movies. The latest Huston to enter the world of cinema is Jack, who has appeared in “Factory Girl” with Sienna Miller and more recently in “Outlander” with James Caviezel. You’ll be able to see him next as a vampire in David Slade’s “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse”, the third in the teeny bopper vampire franchise. THR says Huston will play Royce King II, a human that lived during the Great Depression. One presumes he was vamped while waiting in line for bread or some such, but probably not, though that would be kind of cool. Or at least, funny. Huston joins a cast that already includes stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner. Bryce Dallas Howard, offspring of Opie, has also join the cast in the franchise’s most controversial move since they threatened to fire young Mr. »

Luckily enough for Huston, however, he has an excellent mentor - Al Pacino. “I worked with Jack on an indie film I’ve been directing,” says Al Pacino of 25-year-old actor Jack Huston, who stars in Salomaybe?, Pacino’s unconventional adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s notorious play Salome. Huston’s film resume, aside from Salomaybe? and Outlander, includes The Garden Of Eden, Boogie Woogie, Shrink, Shrooms, Factory Girl, Neighborhood Watch, and forthcoming Mr. Nice. ill-fated ex-fiance of Rosalie (portrayed by Nikki Reed) in this, one of the darker portions of the Twilight series. Huston has suggested an appreciation for this type of film, though. Said he in an interview, “I love certain horror movies, the ones that dare to do something original, that take risks. ‘The Shining’, ‘Psycho’, ‘Rosemary’s Baby’, ‘The Texas Chainsaw Massacre’, The original Japanese version of ‘The Ring’ to name a few of my favourites.” His »

The Hollywood Reporter has recently announced the news that The Twilight Saga: Eclipse's cast will include Jack Huston as Royce King, II. Huston joins a growing line-up of Twilight series newcomers for the third film, including Xavier Samuel, Bryce Dallas Howard, and the one and only Jodelle Ferland. Huston is a relatively new actor, with about five years of experience, but he is of blue blood in Hollywood, and has already made a name for himself amongst the greats. His grandfather is double Oscar-winner John Huston, legendary director of nearly 50 films (including The Treasure Of The Sierra Madre, The Maltese Falcon, Casino Royale, Freud, The Unforgiven, Moby Dick, Moulin Rouge) and actor in over film films (including Chinatown, The Hobbit, De Sade, and A Walk With Love And Death). Sienna Miller doesn't like her own movies. The British actress admits she isn't a fan of many of the films she has appeared in, which include 'Factory Girl' and 'The Edge of Love'. Speaking about her role in new action film 'G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra', she said: "Well, if these films are well done I can find them quite entertaining. But no, I prefer indie, arty films really. It's not the kind of film I'd normally go and see. "I don't really love any of my films. I love the experiences I had on them, but I see the flaws within my performances." Although Sienna has no interest in watching high-octane Hollywood blockbusters, she insists she has learned »

Sienna Miller is worried people see her as "not a particularly nice person" following her affair with married father-of-four Balthazar Getty.
The Factory Girl actress found herself at the centre of a major scandal involving Getty after he reportedly cheated on his wife with her in 2008.
She faced a barrage of negative press about the romance, and the couple eventually split earlier this year.
But gossips have since speculated the relationship is back on after Miller and Getty were spotted sharing a romantic break in Italy in June.
The British star has now accepted her actions have marred her reputation, telling GQ magazine, "I probably seem like not a particularly nice person, not a girl's girl. I think if you put a camera in anyone's life and document it daily for six years, from the age of 21 to 27, there are going to be things that aren't always pretty."
But Miller insists her "sexually manipulative" tag is unfair, adding: "I'm supposed to be this complete slapper (promiscuous woman), that's my reputation. But actually I was in a relationship from 19 to 21 with (the fashion designer) Dave (Neville), 21 to 24 with Jude (Law), then 25 to 26 with Rhys (Ifans), and then Balthazar. And then a few dalliances, three months here and there, but I've never been like a sh****r." »
