Both a parody of the current zombie movie craze, and a scathing attack on the conformity of the contemporary punk rock scene, "Punk Rock Zombie Kung Fu Catfight" is a low-budget laugh riot. From the "warning" at the beginning, to the thrilling battle at the end, you'll find yourself guffawing and chuckling. The special effects are silly, the music is rocking, and the performances are not Oscar worthy, but still entertaining. And there are cameos by many NY rock/performance celebrities like Mango, Shauna Lane (her highly inappropriate dance is one of the movie's highlights), Bex Schwartz, The Minors, The Sex Slaves, The M-Word, The Drive and more. Oh, and how could I forget Mr. Creepo! He really shines in this film. Lots of sexy females, real cat fights, and a plot reminiscent of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan make this a must-see film. Well, should-see at least.
