This is one of almost 100 shorts that were just posted on IMDb for viewing in the States.EVASIVE MANEUVERS has a lot to like about it. The story is pretty interesting, the mood is generally very good and the CGI crash scenes are well done given the limited budget. My biggest complaint is that given that this was probably made as a college project, the actors appear to be way, way too young for the film. While you can't blame them for looking young and fresh-faced, this just didn't fit the tough mood of the film. Additionally, the helicopter crash seemed to strain credibility a bit too far.But if you consider that this was made by inexperienced students, it's not bad. After all, Spielberg and the rest had to start somewhere. Just keep this in mind when you watch the film and don't be too critical. Heck, it's a lot better than most of us can do!!
