Yasmeen is a young Muslim woman working in a downtown Toronto office. Although she is apprehensive to do so, she, with prayer mat in hand, nonetheless starts to pray in the middle of the public green space directly outside her office building since she doesn't have time to go to the mosque. This act garners much attention by the many who regularly use or pass by this green space. She even gets comments from those offended by her actions. However, she is not deterred and she continues not only this prayer but coming to do her prayers here in subsequent breaks in her work day. Her prayers have a profound effect on some others around her. Written by Huggo
