  • Seung-won Cha appears briefly at the end of the movie as Kim Bong-du, the titular character of Seonsaeng Kim Bong-du (2003), which was directed by Gyu-seong Jang, who is also director of this movie.

  • The literal translation of the Korean title is, "Female Teacher vs. Female Pupil". "Yeoseonsaeng" is a play-on-words, where "yeo" means "female" but is also the surname of the main woman character, Mi-ok Yeo, and "seonsaeng" means "teacher". In other words, "yeoseonsaeng" can mean either "female teacher" or "Teacher Yeo". In a western classroom, she would be addressed as "Ms. Yeo".
