Tonight a contract killer is walking the streets of your neighborhood. Odds are if he's there, you've done something to bring him to your doorstep. Billy is a hit man desperately trying to mend the broken pieces of his traumatic past while his job as a paid killer continues to tear apart his fragile mind. The memories of a "Man With the Painted Face" that killed the woman he loved and left him for dead are beginning to seem too familiar for comfort. Billy's contractor, Charlie, sees the young man as too high of a risk for such a delicate business and decides that it's Billy's time to retire. Through an odd cast of characters and the confusion of a shattered reality, Billy struggles to make it out alive with his memories and a mysterious silver case. "In my line of business there is no silver lining... You're never the cowboy that rides off into the sunset." Written by Bevan B. Bell

User Reviews

It was great!
1 February 2005 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I just saw the movie and I thought it was great. I got the two disk set and watched the making of documentary. Having seen this I could tell that the actors really enjoyed working on the project, and I also found out that they were not paid. I believe if someone is willing to put in that much time and not be paid they must really believe in the project. I think that the movie was well written and filmed. the cinematography was amazing. Who would have thought that a movie on such a small to zero budget could have turned out so well. I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone who loves movies that are well written. The movie was shot in Memphis, TN anyone from the Memphis area should support this movie. Also the movie opened at the Indie Memphis film fest and was the first and only movie to have ever sold out there.
