A Romeo-and-Juliet kind of love affair. The difference here is what sets the two lovers apart: their soccer teams. Being a fan of Corinthians, Romeu has to fake he really likes Palmeiras, in order to gain Julieta's heart.

In São Paulo, the gorgeous Julieta (Luana Piovani) is the beloved daughter of Alfredo Baragatti (Luiz Gustavo), the fanatic fan and member of the board of directors of Palmeiras soccer team. She meets the ophthalmologist Romeu (Marco Ricca), the chief of the uniformed rooting of Corinthians soccer team and the greatest rival of Palmeiras, and they fall in love for each other. Romeu pretends to root for Palmeiras to get close to Alfredo, but this lie will risk their love.
I am carioca (born in Rio de Janeiro) and Flamengo (the most popular Brazilian soccer team), but I loved this movie. It is a delightful love story in the country of soccer, and I do not know what a foreigner may think about this comedy. The fanaticism showed in the story does exist between the rooters of the major soccer teams and we read and see in television many cases of death in fights between rooters. The situations are very funny, Luiz Gustavo is an amazing comedian and Luana Piovani and Marco Ricca show a great chemistry. I particularly loved two scenes: when Alfredo and Romeu are in the hospital in Tokyo watching the decision between Palmeiras and Manchester United, and in the airplane returning to Brazil. My vote is eight.
