When the young exec runs through the alleged bullet proof glass with the seat cushion in his arms, the cushion vanishes the moment he breaks through the window and falls in slow motion from multiple angles. If it was in front of him as he hit the glass in a full run, it would likely still be in his hands, but certainly it would be falling with him.

Errors in geography

In the scene where the two boys are driving to the concert and they go over the bridge the shot of the bridge is taken from Crocket, California. You can clearly see Toot's Tavern and the Carquinez bridge during its remodeling.

Factual errors

The JATO bottle used on C-130's is a solid fueled rocket, thus no mixing of fuels is required. Furthermore, the C-130 used 8 such bottles, 4 on each side, and all 8 combined add only an extra 1000 lbs of thrust on takeoff.

Revealing mistakes

Almost all the cars in the movie have their shifters in the Park position even when they are suppose to be in motion. It is most noticeable in the first car the RV almost hits, in some scenes when Michael is driving, and the speedometer close-up in the JATO Chevy.
