I have to agree with hot88jh. This Jake Hanser is spectacular. I haven't seen this type of drive and sheer dedication to character since Daniel Day Lewis in "Gangs of New York". And i hear his younger brother is an immense talent just waiting to bust out. It's sick how there's so much talent in one family. Now naturally, the performance greatly surpasses the film. "Thanatos" is not exactly "Waterfront." However, Jake Hanser has been able to rise above the mere prose on the pages of the script and act with a superior kind of language and emotion rarely seen by young actors today. I deeply hope to see his name someday along with the likes of Norton, Bale, and Owen. Anyone with any taste knows what i'm talking about.
