This movie is about how a man will go to any lengths in order to rope in the girl of his dreams, in this case that means becoming a wrestler. Alas, he is far too Jewish to even hope that he will succeed on his own so he enlists the help of his gay friend and with their powers combined defeat the evil warlock with the damsel properly wooed.

My only problem with the movie is that the gay character (portrayed by a black man) should have had an ebony stereotype mashed with the gay one to produce a thuggish gentile, a golden opportunity missed if P ever saw one. The whole premise of the movie is wrestling, not the real kind where the name of the game is to pin your opponent to the round 'till he begs for mercy, but the showman type with elaborate acrobatics performed by athletic types whose muscles have muscles. I can appreciate both on their own terms so when you make a whole movie about either it better contain a healthy dose of quality showmanship. The wrestling however in this movie was uninspired with the stars just going through the motions, which is kind of sad since there is plenty of comedy potential in these brawny gymnastics.

Not a good movie but I actually think it is worth a watch since it is quite unique in its own way.
