This review is for the PC version.
This is sold as an expansion pack, but it's actually a whole game in itself. It lasts just as long as the Call of Duty. Additions to this is a British bombing mission. You act as a British gunner in a new US bomber, and the Nazis have sent a non-stop flood of fighters to blow you out of the sky. There's a few items that weren't in the original, such as binoculars, and a flame-thrower. The binoculars are kind of helpful, but the flame-thrower doesn't serve much of a purpose. The soviet missions were the hardest, just as in the original.
I recommend getting a graphics card to play this. My computer far exceeded the minimum requirements, but I only had an on-board ATI Radeon XPress 200 series. I had to reduce the quality of the graphics almost to their lowest settings just so that it would stop slowing down. I purchased an ATI Radeon XPress X1300, and now the game operates perfectly at optimal settings.
If you haven't played the original call of duty, I recommend buying the Call of Duty package that contains the original game, United Offensive, a soundtrack CD, and a CD containing maps. I paid about $40 for it, an excellent deal.
