More than "Sex and the city"
26 July 2005 | by (Mar del Plata, Argentina) – See all my reviews

The essential line of the plot of "Venus & Apollon" remembered "Sex and the city": is the history of the sexual life and dreams of four women in a big city. But the city is in France and the women had different ages... Besides, the music, with a south-American resonance, remit to the American series. No more resemblances.

"Venus & Apollon" is not the comedy of a generation, it is the women enjoy of life in the first years of a century, with refreshing humor and delicious cast. Excellent work of Brigitte Roüan (Ingrid), Maëva Pasquali (Geneviève), the beautiful Maria de Medeiros (Suzy) and the young Mélanie Bernier (Bijou). With they, a numerous and professional cast, stand up Zinedine Soualem (Daniel Varela).

The series created by Tonie Marshall can be see in TV cable dedicated to European films.
