Thomas Jane reprises his role as Frank Castle in The Punisher video game. The Punisher starts out with Frank in prison, the game play takes place 3 weeks before Frank gets locked up.Through most of the game Frank does his normal stuff like taking out a crack house, killing a bunch of Gnucci's and other crap like that.In the last 5 or so missions Frank finds out John Saint from the movie has been blown head first through a window by a mine and his face has been shredded to crap giving him the nick name Jigsaw.Jigsaw has taken over a Yakuza gang and wants revenge.

The best part of The Punisher is the violence,it is very gory and over the top.You can just shoot people or maybe walk up to someone and press a button to do a quick kill, there are lots of different quick kills like maybe Frank will stab someone in the face or shove a grenade in their mouth. You can also interrogate people which is the most violent part of the game.Another thing I like to do is mess around with the environment,In one level I tossed a guy off a fire escape and watched his body fall 40 feet onto a burning car and in another level I shot a ceiling fan and watched it fall on someone cutting his head off.

The game is a tad short but some missions are fun to play over and over and there are a lot of things to unlock. It is easy too,if your health gets low just interrogate someone and you get more health. But there are challenges for some levels,in one challenge you have to complete a level with out taking damage or you have to kill a certain number of people with different objects in a certain amount of time which can be hard until you come up with a strategy.

The graphics are good, especially in the cut scenes. The blood is very realistic too.

The sound is also nice. Some of the voice overs are annoying but they're not that bad.Gun shots sound cool.

The Punisher is a very cool game but you may want to rent it first.
