I caught I, Claudia by happenstance, nearly in its entirety a few weeks ago on CBC. It is phenomenal experience; heart-wrenchingly sweet and witty. It asks and answers whether angst dissipates at adolescent's end.
Adults simply find (better) ways to mask their existential dilemma. Masks are shrewdly, poignantly used. They succeed beyond necessity; not merely as devise to allow these amazingly versatile characters to live free from the actor/viewer's self-conscious performance comparison -- they allow the viewer easier access to each character's struggle.
The poetry of image and word throughout are painfully exhilarating. This is soulful art.
