The victim was apparently helping another man who was being robbed when he was shot. There are lots of witnesses but no one will talk. They all afraid to cooperate.

In Texas a young man is set up for a robbery when he answers an ad for a car in a town a hundred miles from his home. He is carrying cash and the supposed buyer demands the money. Police have a witness but her description isn't going to be definitive. In Miami a man who owns a small business is shot multiple times and robbed. The early investigation finds that the man had a proclivity for dating every woman he could and keeping pictures and clothing from those contacts. Detectives start their investigation with the assumption this is a revenge killing.
