I was very impressed by this movie, without really being able to express why. After it had finished, I felt disturbed, and in a way exhausted. After watching it for a second time it was the same, and again, like everybody around me I sat quiet for a few moments until the first clear thought crossed my mind -- I needed a cigarette. Knowing what to expect, I had noticed some more details which had previously escaped me, but the emptiness I felt was still overwhelming, and I still didn't know what to make of what I had just seen. There are only two actors in this film. She plays two characters (or so I believe), He plays one character with two personalities (or so I believe). The soundtrack at times is distorted, along with the image, and finally the main character's (and the viewer's) reality. An otherwise quiet movie gets disrupted by violence, like a torn curtain that lets you get a glimpse of what's happening backstage.
