"First Day..Last Day.." Basketball Inspired Movie???
8 September 2012 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

"Last Two Minutes" is a basketball-inspired movie starring Philippine basketball legends Alvin Patrimonio, Jerry Codiñera, and Paul Alvarez. The 3 PBA stars were teamed up with showbiz heart throbs Aiko Melendez, Carmina Villaroel and Ruffa Gutierrez. In the film, comedian Roderick Paulate played the role of coach.Mike Relon Makiling directs.

This is probably one script-less,brainless,humorless and witless sports movie that presents three non-actors in the Patrimonio,Codiñera, and Alvarez. The film simply tries to capitalize on the popularity of the three Filipino basketball superstars and the cast.Nothing more.Aside from basketball scenes and corny jokes delivered by the cast,it also offers production numbers as a filler to make the movie at least 2 hours long.

Could this be classified as a "First Day...Last Day" film - a movie made in one day or even a few days by shooting whatever scenes comes to the mind of the director and actor or the actress delivers any lines whatever comes to his/her head, which happens to be common during the decade the film was released?

Probably considering that the lack of plot and story telling that the film has.
