Interesting Concept with a silly title

This show is the search for the next creative TV personality who can show that he/she can cook tasteful meals, do interior design that is either trendy and/or attractive and who knows how to make a good party. In other words, this is the search for the next Martha Stewart. Six people compete in several timed competitions, such as cooking, interior design for a trailer, designing a piece of furniture with odds and ends, and decorating for a party. Whoever wins this competition gets a book deal with a well-respected publishing company, and a TV show. The people are judged by their originality, creativity and resourcefulness. The judges are Sandra Lee, Robert Verdi, and Govind Armstrong and the show is hosted by Adam Carolla.

I thought it was kind of interesting to see a cute wedding planner compete with a gay man with fashion tastes, and a hunky artist compete with an egotistical suburban mom. However, as I watched the show, it was little boring. This show is great for a person who wants to learn how the best creative minds handle situations under pressure or learn how to plan an event for your guests.

The show is mediocre at best unless you are really interested in creative interior design and planning for a somewhat lax and good party. When I first heard of this show, I thought it was a show about feuds between certain households in a neighborhood and that there was going to be an ultimate "showdown" between a family and the neighbors and end with a really cool battle. Instead, what I got was a somewhat okay reality show to see who can be the next TV personality. The good thing about it was the cute and attractive wedding planner and the decent hunky artist. They're cool. ABC really needed to change the title and Adam Carolla should not have been the host. Adam Carolla was not really funny during the show, his "jokes" are stupid. If ABC needed a comedian to host it, they should get someone like Dave Chappelle or Will Ferrell. ABC REALLY needs to make some better shows. They should make some good dramas that would attract the high-school crowd like a rival to "The OC" or make a cool reality show that can generate enough ratings to beat both "The Real World" and "The Apprentice".
