A collection of staggering videos to one of the greatest music video directors of all time.
Recently, I got into music videos and commercials. I happen to realise that most of these commercials were made by directors who now moved on to feature films and/or already famous directors. Examples include Ridley Scott, his brother Tony, Alan Parker, Adrian Lyne, Hugh Hudson, David Fincher, Antoine Fuqua, Joseph Kahn and my favourite one of all, Mark Romanek. To me, I see ads and MV's as short films only the product/song is the star. Sure you got people in there, but it's the product that steals the show. So, I bought this collection of music videos by Chris Cunningham, Mark Romanek and Jonathan Glazer. What do I think of them?
I'm gonna talk about Romanek's collection since this is the title we're suggesting.
