Storyline
Kit comes from a very fortunate family, with an outstanding police officer father When the family starts to break up, Man impulsively shot Kit's mother. After Kit's parents divorced, Kit viewed Man his father as an enemy. As an adult, he vowed to become a police officer, and to join Man's team, hoping that Man will pay for what he has done. Kit's cousin, Chi falls for Kit since childhood, but Fung falls for Chi at first sight... The film was billed as a modern update of the 1980s TVB serial "Police Cadet", which starred Tony Leung Chiu Wai, Maggie Cheung, Ching Wan Lau, Carina Lau, Yun-Fat Chow, and Simon Yam, who appears in this film. But Jing Wong just kept the character names and wrote a new story. The film was a box-office disappointment, infuriating legions of fans who wanted Wong not to make any sort of adaptation to the classic show. See more »
