Did You Know?

Kenzo: Well, call me a Techno-Zen-Hippy, and I've been called that before, but there's a floating man right in front of me. I can hear him speak... in my mind. So we have re-animation, telepathy, and levitation.
Karne: Are you on something, Kenzo?

One of the lousiest games ever. A.K.A. Martian Gothic: Pathetic
9 June 2011 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I see that mostly the reviews of this game are rather positive, from here on IMDb and other websites. Are you all serious?! This one of the worst games there is. The story is nice though. It is basically about 3 people sent to Mars after there has been 10 months of silence from Vita Base. Vita Base seems to be the satellite structure you play the game in. THE BAD: The controls/game play are horribly poor quality. Zombies move almost as fast as the character, so it is next to impossible to run away. And when you shoot them they do not die, and get back up within a few minutes. When the zombies grab you it takes so long before the player can get them off, and there is an overly loud sudden noise. The noise isn't scary, its just a *beep* lousy, pathetic attempt to scare the player. You have to switch between all three characters, so you get really lost about what items go to what people. {Items in the game have to be sent by Vac-tubes because if they meet they supposedly come together into a "trimorph" creature, and the game ends. { I have never got far enough to know if this happens for real or not.} If you played this game for yourself you would surely realize it was very HORRIBLY DESIGNED. THE GOOD: I like the music that this game contains. But really about the only music comes from the main menu screen. Also the story is interesting enough.-- When Mars last had contact with Earth, there had been a return of some ancient and deadly bacteria on Vita Base, killing supposedly all but 2 people of the Vita Project. Then after 10 months of silence three people are sent investigate what is going on. Overall this game is absolutely not worth it. The designing is just awful. Again, the controls are about the worst part, and it makes it hard to get away from the zombies. They are invincible, it takes about 5 or 6 shots to get them down, but they just get up if you get away from the immediate area or switch characters. I just started playing this game again after about I last played in about 2007 or 2008. I then had never gotten very far at all. But now I have gotten a bit further, but I think I am really stuck now. This game is just too *beep* hard. I ought to ask the developers "What the *beep* were you *beep* idiots thinking about??!!" So to end this, this game is a very poorly created, overrated piece of *beep*.
