Storyline

This biographical docu-drama alternates between two parallel threads in the life of Arnold Schwarzenegger: his formative early years as the repeat winner of the Mr. Olympia body-building championship; and his modern foray into the world of politics, hitting the campaign trail and competing in the frenzied atmosphere that accompanied California's chaotic recall election. Trivia

Roland Kickinger would later take over Arnold Schwarzenegger's role as The Terminator in Terminator Salvation (2009). However, his body would only be recognizable from the neck down, as his face was replaced with a digital copy of a young Schwarzenegger's face, taken from a make-up cast made for the original film. Poorly made film and an even worse lead character
31 January 2005 | by See all my reviews

The younger Arnold bore an uncanny resemblance to the real thing. Looks like he can act as well. However even he could not copy Arnolds very odd accent. Jurgen Procknow was too old, too small and his attempt at the accent totally pathetic. He delivered his lines in a Churchillian style, totally different from the real thing. As Maria Shriver, Hemmingway was good but a bit overweight. The best performance by far was Arianna Huffington, beautifully portrayed. All in all a disappointment because of the flashbacks, far too many. Less and longer would have been better because Arnold's real character is still somewhat of a mystery.
