An interesting but rather faded attempt at an anti-war propaganda Documentary. The interviewer comes across as a rather patronising school master and the veterans mainly look extremely self conscious. The foreward to the film claims all the footage shown is authentic but many scenes look staged and some has obviously been culled from silent feature films. The introduction to the film is by Sir Ian Hamilton D.S.O. A splendid old soldier of the Colonel Blimp School, It must have impressed at the time as the Great War will still have been fresh in many peoples minds.
