Our hero has the idea that he is a real "Bad Man" and striving to be even worse, he has read a book on how to become a cowboy in twenty minutes. His father aggrieved beyond endurance, dispatches his son to the wild and Wooly West and sends a telegram to a confidential friend to put his son through the ropes on his arrival. Coincidentally, with the son's reaching his destination a truly "Bad Man" is shooting up the town and whether through fear or bravado our hero does the most astounding things and routes the "bad man". All these happenings are of course couched in comedy vain and the escapades are real funny.
