Hontou No Hajimari Wa Kore Kara!

Warning: Spoilers
This what I saw before the entire Love Hina series, and from watching this, I got the impression that the series would be a lot more interesting. It was a cool OAV, with another character who looks like Shinobu. Hmmm, the story goes a bit like this,(a few spoilers, ahead, you can read it, or TURN BACK BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE) it's spring, and the exam losers, specifically Keitar, Naru, and Mutsumi, take another entrance exam, and oops! Keitaro that idiot fell asleep, with some answers on his test, and with the thought that he failed again! OH NO! And he decides to give up, and run away again! AY NAKO! NOT AGAIN! And he decides to get part time job in the Pacific. And now Naru and the rest have to get him back. A great continuation of the series, and THIS WILL ULTIMATELY ANSWER IF KEITARO WILL PASS OR NOT. Recommended to the fans of the series, and those who like Ranma 1/2 and Tenchi Muyo! Watch it. You know you want to!

Love Hina Spring Special
Tweekums3 February 2014
Warning: Spoilers
This, the second 'Love Hina' special, begins with Keitaro, Naru and Mutsumi taking their entrance exams for Tokyo University. As he opens the paper Keitaro is ecstatic; he knows all the answers… unfortunately he is so ecstatic that he starts to think about what will happen between him and Naru and by the time he has stopped thinking there is only five minutes left to actually take the exam! Convinced that he has failed he can't face anybody so boards a ship bound for a remote Pacific island. It turns out that the ship is taking archaeologist Seta on a trip to discover the home of the ancient turtle culture. Seta calls Naru and she heads to the island followed soon after by the rest of the girls from the Hinata Apartment girls. On the Island Keitaro has met a local girl and is trying to help her keep a promise made to her grandfather.

'Love Hina' was always a bit silly and this installment is even sillier… in a fun way! The way the girls get to the island was hilarious; especially Kaolla, Shinobu and Sarah who fly there on a giant robotic turtle built by Kaolla! There are the usual misunderstandings which shouldn't be much of a surprise; especially as Naru spends a fair amount of time wearing a bikini made of leaves. That might make it sound like there is a fair amount of fan service but what there is is fairly tame… as one would expect given its PG rating. I was pleased that by the end we knew how Keitaro had done in his exam although if you want to find out how he did you'll have to watch the show! Overall this was a fine addition to the 'Love Hina' story; I'm sure most fans will enjoy it. I'm not sure how people who haven't seen the series will take it though; no time is wasted introducing the series and it might just seem a little too weird!

funny and cute
Believeing he flunked the Tokyo U entrance exams for a 4th time, Keitarou runs away with Seta to one of his archaeological digs. This dig takes place on an island overrun by...you guessed it: turtles. Meanwhile, back at the Hina household, the girls feel worried about their manager and decide to go look for him. This special focuses on promises and being able to keep them.

This is another very enjoyable special from the Love Hina series. Like the series, expect lots of laughs and soap opera like drama. Must see for all Love Hina fans

overall: full of cuteness and laughter: 8/10
