Goodness, where do I start...???

Okay, if I may, I MUST disagree with RST3K or whatever the hell his / her name is. NOT that it is not indeed a pretty lousy film; that IS true. But to me personally Michael Learned's (sp?) performance was HORRIBLE,not 'Brilliant', thank you... GEEZ... And the Direction was the ONLY thing that was actually pretty good. The visuals, camera work, framing, editing, etc. wasn't bad at all; there were some nice transitions and fairly decent look and mood to the film. But that was just about it! The acting was NOT 'Passable'; overall it was pretty darn lousy with moments of okayness (okayness...?) Anyway, YES Judd Nelson was indeed sleepwalking through this; you could almost hear him saying to himself ('I'm just doing this for the money; I'm just doing this for the money') Believe me, I give a LOT of slack to these kind of films, considering that my 2 favorite directors (dead and alive) and Kubrick and Lynch. But, CHEEEEEZY Horror films are great too. The script was REALLY bad; man oh man, was it bad.

So, I don't know, if the script had been better and the actors had been better then with the above average direction and half way decent, although simple concept, I think it would have flown pretty well.
