When Chris steps out of Cartier and returns to his car, he meets a friend who still plays the tennis circuit. As Chris steps around the rear of the car, the boom microphone is visible in the car's side window.
When he's returning the shotgun, Chris stuffs his pockets with the jewels and drugs of Mrs. Eastby, his pockets bulge to a degree. Moments later, when he enters the study for Chloe's announcement, his pockets are entirely empty.
When Chloe's parents are visiting her and Chris (before he takes Nola's call on his mobile), the stunning view of the Thames from their floor to ceiling windows is strangely static: two boats on the water never move throughout the scene.
Chris threw away the jewels including the ring into the river somewhere in the center the next day. It is never shown he did it in Nola s neighborhood. Then the ring turns up in the pocket of junkie in Nola s neighborhood. Very strange coincidence, not believable.
The music played during the scene where Nola is killed is credited incorrectly. It is not the 'death of Desdemona' scene but the end of the 2nd act of Othello by Verdi and is concerned with Iago inflaming Othello's jealousy and Othello swearing to have vengeance.
